<video:description><![CDATA[There are problems that people try to "endure" for a long time.Hair on the brush. Scalp itch. The feeling that the ponytail has become thinner. The parting has widened. And also — the eternal "maybe it's seasonal." In Israel, this sounds especially familiar: heat, sun, humidity, stress, abrupt changes in care and water — all this affects the scalp and follicles.
Therefore, many at some point stop googling another "shampoo for everything" and look for a place where they first deal with the cause, and only then offer a plan. In Haifa, such an address for many becomes the "Abramsky" Hair Health Center — the Russian-language main page is here: https://hair-health-center.nikk.co.il/ru/

Why "just hair loss" often turns out to be a system of causes
The most common pain is the feeling of losing control.Yesterday everything was fine, and today hair remains in the shower drain, on the pillow, on clothes. People start taking typical steps: changing shampoos, buying vitamins, trying masks, canceling coloring, enduring itching. Sometimes it gets easier, but often — not for long.
The problem is that hair loss and thinning often go hand in hand with scalp irritation: inflammation, increased oiliness, dryness, flaking. And until the scalp is put in order, any "length remedies" only provide a cosmetic effect.
If it's more convenient for you to read in Hebrew — the center's main page is here: https://hair-health-center.nikk.co.il/

The pains that people most often come with — and what is done about them
1) “Hair falls out a lot, especially after stress/illness/childbirth”This is a story where a person tries to understand: is it temporary, or is the process becoming entrenched. The center focuses on diagnosing the scalp and follicle condition — to separate "waves" of hair loss from situations where intervention is needed.
2) “Itching, burning, discomfort — and it seems that the scalp is living its own life”This is no]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[On November 26 and 27, 2026, Georgian singer Nino Katamadze will perform in Tel Aviv and Haifa with her new program Lilat. For the Israeli audience, this is a meeting with an artist whose voice has long been recognized from the first notes. But behind her music lies a story that includes a refusal to tour in Russia, helping Ukrainian refugees, and participating in protests against the political course of the Georgian authorities.

Nino Katamadze was born on August 21, 1972, in the Georgian city of Kobuleti, on the Black Sea coast. She studied at the vocal faculty of the Batumi Music Institute and began collaborating with the Insight group in 1999.

Her music combines jazz improvisation, Georgian vocal tradition, folklore, and rock. The singer often abandons the usual song form: the voice becomes an instrument, and the melody develops right during the performance.

Over the years of her career, albums Black, White, Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow have appeared. Katamadze has performed on international stages but has kept the Georgian language at the center of her creativity.

The Israeli audience is already familiar with her concerts. The organizer Showman reminds of past performances that were sold out. Now the artist comes with new music.
In 2019, she said 'no' to Russia
On June 30, 2019, Katamadze announced that she would no longer perform in Russia. The decision followed mass protests in Tbilisi, which began on June 20 due to the appearance of Russian deputy Sergey Gavrilov in the Georgian parliament.

Her last concert in Moscow at that time took place on June 22, already after the protests began. The singer called it the hardest in her life and referred to Russia as an occupier.

This statement was made three years before the full-scale Russian invasion]]></video:description>

On August 23, 2026, on the eve of Ukraine's Independence Day, the CEO of JNF-KKL Eurasia, Igal Yasinov, recorded an address to Ukrainians from the 'Ukraine' forest in the Negev. At first glance, it's a few minutes of festive video. But the place chosen for the recording changes the meaning of the address: Yasinov stands among the trees of a project he was involved in more than ten years ago. The official website of JNF-KKL Eurasia still lists his position as the organization's CEO.
"Look around, trees grow slowly, but they withstand storms.

This is exactly how Israel is. This is exactly how Ukraine is. This is exactly how people are, who continue to build the future even under shelling.

Today I congratulate the worthy Kharkiv, I congratulate Ukraine on Independence Day. I greet everyone who believes in freedom more strongly than the enemies believe in their weapons.

Eternal memory to those who gave their lives for freedom. Glory to the heroes defending Ukraine today. Glory to the heroes defending Israel today. Glory to Ukraine and glory to Israel.

Peace to our countries. And may the day come when our children know the sound of the wind in the trees better than the sound of sirens.

Friends, we are united. Victory to us!"
JNF-KKL is the Jewish National Fund, in Hebrew קרן קיימת לישראל, Keren Kayemet Le-Israel. The organization has existed since 1901; today its areas include forests and the environment, water, land development, education, tourism, and research projects. <video:title><![CDATA[Are you 60+ in Israel and still working? Perhaps the pension fund can already pay you money]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[Many residents of Israel approach the age of 60 with the feeling that retirement is something distant, complicated, and almost inevitably bureaucratic. As long as there is work, a salary, and a familiar rhythm of life, it seems that dealing with pension funds can be postponed: closer to 67 years, after dismissal, or already when Bituach Leumi sends some documents.

But in reality, this approach often becomes the most costly mistake.

In Israel, the pension system is arranged so that a person can have several different sources of future income: state old-age benefits, a pension fund, Bituach Menahalim, Kupat Gemel, Keren Hishtalmut, severance pay, old savings from previous employers, and additional insurance or pension programs. Some of this money people remember, some they have long forgotten, and some programs they only learn about after a professional review.

And here arises the main question for those who have already turned 60 or are approaching this age: can one already start receiving a pension from the pension fund and continue working?

The answer may be unexpected. In some cases — yes, this possibility is indeed worth checking. But this does not mean that everyone over 60 should urgently start receiving payments. For one person, such a step may increase family income today, while for another — decrease future pension, affect taxes, or create problems for the family in the future.

Therefore, the right question is not "am I entitled to a pension?" but rather: what is beneficial in my specific situation?
Pension in Israel is not a single button and not a single payment
[caption id="attachment_282462" align="alignnone" width="1200"] You are 60+ in Israel and continue to work? Perhaps the pension fund can already pay you money[/caption]

For many Russian-speaking Israelis, the word "pension" sounds like something singular: reached the age, submitted documents, started receiving money. But in Israel, everything is more complicated, and because of ]]></video:description>

<video:title><![CDATA[Whose is the Alexander Courtyard in Jerusalem after all? And will Netanyahu be able to “uphold the interests of the State of Israel” in this case?]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[“Wait, doesn't all the land in Israel belong to the state? How then is it transferred to someone?”
This is the most common and absolutely logical question.
And the short answer to it is — no, not all the land in Israel belongs to the state.

...

Let's say right away, in Israel, a petition/open appeal by Israeli citizens to the government is gaining momentum, demanding "to stop the transfer of the Alexander Courtyard to Russia and related IPPO structures", because they believe that such a transfer "threatens Israel's security" and poses "risks associated with external influence and the political interests of Moscow and related organizations".
"Protect Israel from the Russian threat: stop the transfer of the Alexander Courtyard to Hamas supporters"
“Protect Israel from the Russian threat: stop the transfer of the Alexander Courtyard to Hamas supporters”
here it is (Hebrew) - https://www.atzuma.co.il/threatfromrussia
...

Let's return to land ownership.
Where did this myth come from
In Israel, indeed:

 	most of the land is under state management;
 	there is the Israel Land Authority;
land is often not sold, but leased long-term.

Because of this, there is a feeling that
“everything state-owned means the state decides everything.”
But this is not quite so.
What actually belongs to the state and what does not
In Israel, there are three different types of land:

 	State land
Yes — belongs to the state.
This is simple.
Private land of citizens and organizations
Yes — it exists.
With documents, registers, and property rights.
 	Historical and foreign private property
This is where the whole story with courtyards, churches, and old objects begins.

Many such plots:

 	were purchased even before 1948,
during the Ottoman Empire, British Mandate,
 	by private societies, churches, foundations.

And Israel did not automatically nullify these rights.
Why didn't Israel say: “Everything is ours, period”
When Israel was being re-esta]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[Film "Vkorineni" (Russian: “Rooted”) is the first project of the Post Bellum Ukraine team, dedicated to preserving the history of small national communities of Ukraine. Based on interviews recorded in 2024 in cities such as Lviv, Odessa and Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, the film reveals the fates of representatives of four national communities - Crimean Tatars, Bulgarians, Jews and Hungarians.
These stories show how the lives of these people passed during Soviet times and after Ukraine gained independence.
The film premiered in Ukraine in November 20224.
Life stories and memories
In the film, four characters tell their stories: Lerana Khanum Kurtneby Kiza (Crimean Tatar), Valentina Nikiruy (Bulgarian), Peter Gergely (Hungarian) and Pavel Kozlenko (Jew). They share memories of their past in the Soviet Union, deportation and life in exile, the return to Crimea for the Crimean Tatars and how they survived the changes that Ukraine's independence brought.
“We record the memories of eyewitnesses to make Ukrainian voices in world history louder and ourselves stronger,” says the Post Bellum Ukraine team. This film is part of their project aimed at preserving the memory of national communities.
Important points and questions
The film touches on important issues such as the life of national communities during the Soviet period, their attitude towards their culture and language, and their reaction to the changes that occurred after the restoration of Ukrainian independence in 1991. One of the key issues is the issue of patriotism, and how it is perceived by representatives of different ethnic groups in Ukraine.
“The film will try to answer the following questions: how did national communities actually live in Soviet times? What was it like for the Crimean Tatars to return to their native Crimea after deportation? And what does patriotism mean to these communities?” - say the filmmakers.
Legacy and future

<video:title><![CDATA[Grigory Tamar: cause of death, statement from wife Lilia, last videos and unknown circumstances of the tragedy]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[On October 13, 2026, in Jerusalem, Grigory Tamar, a 54-year-old Israeli reserve officer, military analyst, historian, medic, and one of the most well-known Russian-speaking commentators on the war in Ukraine, passed away. In the first hours after the announcement of his death, the circumstances remained unknown. In the evening of the same day, after the funeral, his wife Lilia Tamar recorded a message stating that her husband had taken his own life for personal reasons unrelated to politics or professional activities.

Author: Stas Shifer, NANews

In the following two days, details emerged about Grigory's last appearances, colleagues' memories, reports of conversations shortly before the tragedy, and information about the future of his YouTube channel.

Perhaps the most important thing in this story now is to hear what his wife said and not attribute explanations to the family that they did not give.
What happened to Grigory Tamar on October 13
On the morning of Tuesday, October 13, Grigory Tamar was found lifeless in an apartment in Jerusalem. Israeli media reported that a gun was found next to him. He was 54 years old.

The family initially published a mourning message with information about the farewell. The funeral took place on the same day at 5:00 PM at the Givat Shaul cemetery in Jerusalem.

Givat Shaul is a district in the west of the city, where one of the major Jerusalem cemetery complexes is located. In Israeli tradition, funerals are often held soon after death, so the short interval between the news of the tragedy and the farewell is not unusual in itself.

In the first NANews publication about the death of Grigory Tamar on October 13, the circumstances of the incident were not yet disclosed. After the wife's message appeared, this information requires significant addition.

<video:description><![CDATA[International Police Association awarded a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer
The International Police Association (IPA), uniting law enforcement officers from more than 70 countries, awarded its medal to an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Hasid".
This was reported by the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine (FJCU) and the publication JewishNews on November 22, 2025.The IPA decision emphasizes that the award was given for high professionalism, courage, and a special contribution to the defense of Ukraine.
For the Jewish community, this decision was significant: for the first time in a long time, a representative of Ukraine with Jewish heritage receives an international professional award specifically as a combat officer of the active army.

Who is "Hasid": collected facts from open sources
There is little information about "Hasid" in the public domain — he consciously maintains anonymity. However, over the past years, his name (or rather, call sign) has repeatedly appeared in Ukrainian media and social networks.

The Ukrainian community in Israel: language, politics and breaking away from Russian narratives
NAnews presents a new review: premiere of the 4th episode of the podcast “BalachkI” (premiere August 15, 2025), dedicated to the Ukrainian community in Israel.

The main guest is Michael Goldstein, political scientist, volunteer, and activist. The focus of the conversation is the issue of language, independence from Russian cultural and political influence, and an emphasis on Ukraine and Israel as the foundation for self-identification.
Who participates
The podcast “BalachkI” is hosted by:

Danilo Tsyporukha — founder of the creative space and café “The Picnic Player” in Jaffa;

Ulyana Dryuchkova — co-founder of “Українські Здибанки в Ізраїлі” and author of the channel UDM Israel.

The language issue as a principle
One of the key ideas of the episode is the rejection of “Russian-speaking” identity and strengthening the Ukrainian language in Israel. According to Goldstein, language helps separate from the “Russian world” and forms the basis for cultural and political self-awareness. For the Ukrainian diaspora in Israel, this is an important step: speaking Ukrainian means remaining part of the nation, even thousands of kilometers away from home.
“Українські Здибанки в Ізраїлі”
Special attention is given to the project “Українські Здибанки в Ізраїлі”, which unites people through conversations, lectures, meetings, and cultural initiatives. The channel UDM Israel became a platform for sharing experiences and supporting the army through don]]></video:description>

<video:title><![CDATA[The Alibi Sisters in Israel: the Zaval’ski sisters bring Ukrainian-Jewish music, Yiddish and klezmer – October 2026]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[In October 2026, Israel will once again hear The Alibi Sisters — the duo of Anna and Angelina Zavalsky, Ukrainian sisters from Kyiv, who have journeyed from the popular group "Алібі" to a project where the Ukrainian scene, Jewish memory, Yiddish, klezmer, and retro aesthetics sound like one story.

The tour will take place from October 10 to 18, 2026, covering several cities in Israel: Nof HaGalil, Ashdod, Netanya, Ashkelon, Rishon LeZion, Petah Tikva, Be'er Sheva, and Haifa. All concerts are scheduled for 20:00, and tickets, according to the organizers Showman, range from 174 to 265 shekels in different cities.

Tickets are already available on the Showman website.

This is not just a tour of a Ukrainian duo.

For many Israelis, especially those whose family histories are connected with Kyiv, Podolia, Odessa, Chernivtsi, Zhytomyr, Berdychiv, or Uman, this concert may be a meeting with that cultural world that cannot always be explained in words. It lives in songs, intonations, old records, family recipes, Yiddish words, grandmother's memories, and that special music where joy and sadness almost never exist separately.

Who are The Alibi Sisters
Anna and Angelina Zavalsky have been known to the Ukrainian public since the early 2000s as the group "Алібі". The project appeared on April 6, 2001, and since 2021, the sisters have been performing as The Alibi Sisters. The group's profile lists pop and klezmer genres, and among the languages of performance are Ukrainian, Russian, and Yiddish.

There is an important detail in the duo's biography: the sisters were soloists of the folk ensemble "Strumochok" from the age of five, graduated from music school in 1997 with a focus on violin, and later moved on to the professional stage, television, albums, and a large Ukrainian audience. In 2012, "Алібі" ceased artistic activity, but in 2021 the project returned in a new form — with a different musical pers]]></video:description>

<video:title><![CDATA[“This is a disaster”: a frank conversation with an Orthodox Jewish chaplain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — about the front, faith, and how not to lose a person – video]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA["There is a law, and it says: 'If someone comes to kill you — kill him first.' The most important part. Therefore, defending your country is a commandment of God. There is such a commandment: 'Do not cross the border.' It is written in the Torah, in the Bible, right? Therefore, those who came here grossly violated this commandment. And those who defend — this is the Armed Forces of Ukraine, these are the hands of God in Ukraine. And they fulfill the commandment: 'Do not kill, by destroying the enemy', - Yakov Sinyakov.

Video of the channel "Details" with Igor Sinyakov (also known as Rabbi Yakov) does not sound like an 'interview about religion'. Rather, it sounds like a conversation on the front line, where a person has no extra words, but has a habit of calling things directly. He talks about war as maximum chaos, about the army as order, about why neutrality in such times is not just a convenient pose, but a moral trap, and why memory is not a burden, but a tool for the future.
Rabbi Yakov is the first officially recognized Orthodox Jewish chaplain in the history of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the video, his path is described briefly and clearly: after February 24, 2022, he and his wife began helping refugees in Dnipro, then the volunteer work gradually shifted to the military — trips along the front line, meetings with units in different directions. In 2025, at the invitation of the commander, Brigadier General Yevhen Lasiychuk, Yakov joined the army and headed the chaplain service of the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces. This is an important detail: he does not 'come sometimes', he is integrated into the structure, constantly with people, and this explains the tone of the interview — without a tourist's view of the war.
It is important to clarify: in this article, we took only the most noticeable theses and several key stories from the conversation — essentially a summary, not a full transmission of intonation and meaning. The full interview is much ]]></video:description>

<video:title><![CDATA[What is special about Jewish music and what role did Ukraine play in its formation?]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[When we talk about Jewish music, we most often recall touching violin melodies, klezmer ensembles, the sound of the clarinet, and Hasidic chants that can both cry and rejoice simultaneously. But behind this tradition lies a vast cultural layer closely connected with the history of Ukraine. It is here that unique musical expressions were formed, ancient chants were preserved, and many elements of Jewish music intertwined with Ukrainian folk culture, creating a completely unique sound landscape.
On the website of the "Ukrainian-Jewish Encounter" in November 2025, a large conversation with Michal Stamova was published — a researcher of Jewish culture, a specialist in the history of Hebrew prayer, and a consultant on Jewish education projects. Her answers help to look at Jewish music differently: as a living organism that developed on Ukrainian lands alongside local traditions, experienced wars, migrations, cultural explosive moments, and today is regaining popularity.
Below is a comprehensive overview of this topic specifically for NANews - news of Israel.

Music as Part of Judaism
In Judaism, music was never something forbidden or suspicious. On the contrary — it was initially a way to glorify the Almighty. Even in the Jerusalem Temple, there were musical instruments, psalms were sung, and King David combined the roles of ruler, warrior, and poet-musician.
Michal Stamova emphasizes: in the Tanakh, there are many musical fragments — songs, ballads, prayer texts, which, unfortunately, have reached us without notes but have become the basis for modern composers. Both Jewish and non-Jewish. In this sense, music is not just art but a sacred connection between tradition and the creator.
A person, created "in the image and likeness," expresses their inner state through sound. And in Jewish tradition, this has always been a natural, permissible, and even necessary way of spiritual practice.

<video:description><![CDATA[The defense of Azovstal lasted from March 18 to May 16, 2022, on the territory of the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant "Azovstal". It took place as part of the battle for Mariupol during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Russian forces besieged the plant for a long time, and on May 16, 2022, the Ukrainian garrison surrendered by order of the country's top leadership.

In March and April, the world learned about the civilians and soldiers trapped at Azovstal. While the evacuation of Mariupol civilians was successful, Ukraine was unable to liberate the military by force, and Russia refused any proposals except surrender. The soldiers had no choice but to continue fighting and hold their positions until the end.

The defenders of Mariupol held back 20,000 Russian troops, destroyed around 6,000 of them, approximately 78 tanks, and more than 100 armored vehicles. They helped the Ukrainian Armed Forces better prepare the defense of Donbas by delaying significant Russian forces for nearly three months.

As of early May, there were no civilians left at Azovstal.

On the evening of May 16, the commander of the Azov Regiment, Denys Prokopenko, delivered a statement:
"The defenders of Mariupol fulfilled their order. Despite all the difficulties, for 82 days they held back superior enemy forces and gave the Ukrainian army time to regroup, train more personnel, and receive a large amount of weapons from partner countries."
A few days earlier, one of the defenders of Mariupol, Azov fighter Vitalii Barabash, recorded a video message on behalf of the Ukrainian Jews at Azovstal, appealing to the Israeli government for help in evacuating all remaining service members from the plant.

Barabash was seriously wounded and suffered a concussion. Another soldier helped him read the appeal on behalf of all Ukrainian Jews at Azovstal.

Full text of the appeal:

<video:description><![CDATA[Boombox starts "Dronotour '26" from Israel: Tel Aviv and Haifa are the first in the big 2026 route. The Ukrainian band Boombox announced a big concert route "Dronotour '26" for November–December 2026.

For the Israeli audience, there is a particularly important detail in this poster: the tour starts from Israel.

The first concert is scheduled for November 10, 2026 in Tel Aviv, at the Reading 3 club.

The next day, November 11, 2026, the band will perform in Haifa, at the Theatron Hatzafon hall.

Details and tickets are published on the tour page on UNOW: https://unow.com.ua/tour/boombox-eu/
Why this tour starts with special meaning
Boombox is one of the most recognizable Ukrainian musical phenomena of the last two decades.

The band was founded in 2004 and became known for its combination of rock, hip-hop, soul, and live stage energy.

But after February 2022, Boombox's story gained another dimension.

The band's leader, Andriy Khlyvnyuk, became one of the voices of Ukrainian resistance.

His a cappella performance of "Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow" on Sophia Square in Kyiv became a symbol of Ukraine's struggle and gained viral popularity far beyond the country's borders.

This song was picked up by musicians, volunteers, artists, and ordinary people in different countries.

Thus, the Ukrainian melody turned into an international flash mob supporting Ukraine.

Therefore, "Dronotour '26" is not just a concert route.

It's a meeting with a band for whom music, stage, donations, merch, and public voice have become part of one big story — a story of help, memory, resistance, and connection with Ukraine.

The conversation, published under the title "The War Doesn't End at Home! How Israeli Soldiers Helped Ukraine in the War. Tamar and Gorelik," turned out to be significantly broader than the stated topic. In half an hour, the interlocutors covered the path from the Ukrainian-Polish border in the spring of 2022 to the events of October 7, 2023, in Israel, from voluntary assistance to Ukrainian soldiers to the psychological rehabilitation of Israeli reservists.

This interview is about people for whom helping Ukraine and defending Israel did not become two different stories.

From Kharkiv — to the border with Ukraine
Alex Gorelik repatriated to Israel from Moscow more than 30 years ago. He served in the Givati infantry brigade, then served in the reserves, including in the Gaza Division units. Later, he returned to service in the 98th IDF Division.

A special place in his biography is occupied by Ukraine. Working as an emissary of the Jewish Agency, which deals with connections with Jewish communities and repatriation to Israel, Gorelik was involved in youth programs in Kharkiv. His connections with this city have lasted for decades.

When the full-scale Russian invasion began on February 24, 2022, he offered his help to the Jewish Agency. In the first days, he took phone calls from Ukraine and soon went to Poland.

Initially, Gorelik managed the work of one of the Warsaw hotels that received refugees. Then he found himself directly at the border.

According to him, he saw thousands of people there who were walking through the frost, trying to escape the war. The initial task — to help Jews heading t]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[October 15 — Haifa, October 21 — Netanya, October 23 — Bat Yam. Felix Shinder returns to Israel with "Lemonchiki", "7:40", klezmer, Utyosov, and that very Odessa intonation. But behind the cheerful poster, there is another story: after 2022, his concerts in Europe became charitable, and part of the income from one of the previous Israeli tours was directed to children of Ukrainian refugees.

Author — Anton Pshydynskyi

On September 9, 2026, Israeli producer Svetlana Berdetskaya announced new Israeli concerts of Felix Shinder. And here, as is customary in Odessa, everything seems clear, but there are details.

Tickets are already available on SHOWMAN.

[caption id="attachment_292057" align="alignnone" width="1350"] Felix Shinder in Israel in 2026: "Lemonchiki", klezmer, three concerts and Odessa, which you can't take with you - it comes itself - October 15 - Haifa, October 21 - Netanya, October 23 - Bat Yam[/caption]

In the initial poster, Haifa was scheduled for October 17. However, the current SHOWMAN ticketing system now says otherwise: October 15, 2026, Thursday, 19:00. So we looked not only at the announcement but also where they are already asking for shekels for tickets. As of September 10, three concerts are officially listed: Haifa, Netanya, and Bat Yam.

It turns out to be a real little Israeli route of Odessa.

October 15 — Haifa, Matnas Adar, Beitenu Hall, Yerushalayim St., 29, starts at 19:00, ticket — 166 shekels.

October 21 — Netanya, Arik Einstein Auditorium, Bnei Berman St., 6, starts at 19:00; program "L'chaim, friends!", duration one and a half hours, tickets cost 161–181 shekels.

Doors open: 19:00

Concert starts: 20:00

Duration: about 100 minutes

Format: live sound

Age rules: guests under 14 years old — only accompanied by adults.

A household detail is noted separately, but it is important in Israel: it's better not to count on "just in time." The evening starts on schedule, and the entrance flow in large halls can be dense.

Vera Brezhneva is the soloist of the golden lineup of the group "VIA Gra." It sounds like a line from a press release, but the meaning is clear: it's about songs that have become a "point in time" for many.

<video:description><![CDATA["We are confident that people who come to such events do not support Russian aggression. We try to cut off those who support the Putin regime."
"If a Russian-language event is organized, then all proceeds from it go to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU)."
"We don't allow racist crap, and we try to make sure that people who support Russian politics don't get here."

On YouTube channel UDM Israel – Ukrainian Health Banks in Israel an issue dedicated to a unique place in Israel — a creative Ukrainian space — was released nothingwhich became a center of attraction for Ukrainian and pro-Ukrainian projects. The channel's host, Ulyana Dryuchkovainvites viewers into this atmospheric space located in the old city of Jaffa, Tel Aviv.
An interview recorded as part of the issue with Yurkom Muravyov helps to better understand the philosophy of the place
The place itself did not emerge as a carefully planned project, but as a spontaneous opportunity. After several successful exhibitions in Jaffa, the organizers received an offer to rent a space. The initial idea was simple - to do nothing, but the process of creating this place itself became an experiment that turned into a full-fledged laboratory of emotions. The goal was to create a space where one could move away from rational concepts and focus on creativity and emotional experiences.
This approach is reflected in the very concept of the place. Here you can see exhibitions, stand-up shows, creative master classes, yoga and even cooking lessons on making vareniki. The peculiarity of the project was the creation of a platform for events that evoke an emotional response and allow participants to express themselves through creativity. As the organizers note, it is this emotional component that attracts people - everyone who comes here is immersed in an atmosphere of creativity and openness.
In addition to various events related to culture and creativity, the space actively supports the Ukrainian diaspora and pr]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[It was built from old Ukrainian oak, with a starry sky depicted on the ceiling on September 29, 1941, and the opening was turned into a collective action. How the unusual synagogue appeared in Kyiv, why its construction caused controversy, and what happened to the memorial after the Russian invasion.

Author: Lev Varshavsky

In Babyn Yar, among the trees, near the bronze Menorah, stands a wooden structure eleven meters high. At first glance, it's hard to understand what is in front of you. A vertical structure made of oak, a metal frame, practically no familiar signs of a religious building. But when people start turning a special wheel, the walls come into motion, the roof opens, benches and a prayer space appear.

In front of visitors is a synagogue. A real one, although completely unusual.

It is called a "Place for Reflection." Built in Kyiv in 2021 according to the project of Swiss architect Manuel Herz, specifically for the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center. Jewish prayers are written on the walls, the paintings resemble the interiors of destroyed Ukrainian synagogues, and the flowers on the ceiling repeat the arrangement of stars over Kyiv on the night when the Nazis began the mass murder of local Jews.

This structure has a complex biography. It appeared thanks to an international memorial project, survived conflicts around construction on historical land, and received architectural awards. Less than a year after the opening, Russian missiles struck the Babyn Yar area. The large museum project was halted, and the synagogue itself now exists in completely different conditions.

His interview with the 24th Separate Assault Regiment "Aidar" is not only a personal story of a fighter but also an important conversation about the IDF, Ukraine, citizenship, anti-Semitism, Russian propaganda, and the price of a true choice.

On April 30, 2026, the 24th Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Aidar" published a video interview with Grigory Pivovarov — a staff sergeant, fighter with the call sign "Jew" and a citizen of Israel who has been fighting for Ukraine since 2014.

The video is titled: "Jew. About Israel, the IDF, Maidan, citizenship, and the war since 2014".

This is not just a story of a foreigner who found himself in the Ukrainian war. It is the story of a person who went through the Maidan, the volunteer movement, the front, injuries, command positions, and still speaks of Ukraine as his home.

At the beginning of the interview, Grigory Pivovarov introduces himself directly: his name is Grigory, call sign — "Jew", he is a fighter of the "Aidar" regiment, and he is a foreigner, a citizen of Israel, who has been fighting for Ukraine's independence since 2014.

Grandpa Ivan, who in the first "Krashanka" planned to launch a rocket at the Kremlin, returns. Now he has a more serious plan: to build a time machine and try to change history. While his invention tests the strength of his own family, the Ukrainian comedy "Krashanka 2.0. Quantum Paradox" is preparing for its Israeli premiere.

In Ukraine, the film will be widely released on October 8, 2026. Israeli viewers will see it less than a month after the Ukrainian premiere.
In the first part, there was a rocket aimed at the Kremlin. Now — a time machine.
In 2024, director Taras Dudary presented the comedy "Krashanka." Its main character is Ivan Andreevich Zabyaka, a retiree from the Kharkiv region, played by Stanislav Boklan. After the start of the Russian invasion, grandpa decides that waiting for victory is not enough and begins to restore an old missile launcher to strike the Kremlin.

It is at this moment that his adult children and grandson come to visit him for Easter. Instead of a peaceful family holiday, it turns into a story about war, mutual grievances, old conflicts, and a rather dangerous hobby of grandpa.

For Israeli viewers, it is worth explaining the title itself. The Ukrainian word "krashanka" means a painted Easter egg. The first film was built around a family gathering for Easter — a holiday that has great family and cultural significance in Ukraine.

In the sequel, Ivan Zabyaka changes the direction of his experiments. His new invention is the Quantum Paradox Machine, hidden in an old minibus. With this unusual transport, grandpa and his family embark on a journey where the past may turn out to be no less unpredictable than the future.

<video:title><![CDATA[Ukrainian Jews have historically spoken Russian. The war is changing this.]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[Three rabbis were sitting at breakfast in the Tsori Gilod synagogue of this city, discussing Russia's war against the country where they work in a mix of Yiddish, Hebrew, and Russian.

They named their hometowns as Luhansk, Lviv, and Dnipro — the Russian names of Ukrainian cities that made international headlines after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February, writes the JEWISH TELEGRAPHIC AGENCY.

Although they were focused on Ukraine's successes in combat, the rabbis did not utter a word in Ukrainian. How could they? Like the overwhelming majority of Ukraine's Jews, none of them speak the country's official language.

Russian has long been the first language for many Ukrainians, including the majority of the country's Jews. But after the Russian invasion, many Ukrainians decided they wanted to speak less Russian and more Ukrainian. Many Jews, also frightened by the sight of thousands of Russian soldiers crossing Ukraine's border and wishing to demonstrate their sincere Ukrainian loyalty, made the same choice — even though it means breaking a long-standing linguistic tradition.

Therefore, when the rabbis' successors meet over pancakes with sour cream, they are much more likely to introduce themselves as rabbis of Luhansk, Lviv, and Dnipro — the Ukrainian names of their hometowns, which have become the standard in English. They are also likely to be able to pass on to their students and congregants Ukrainian-language versions of central Jewish texts, which currently simply do not exist.
"Many of my friends say they are embarrassed to use Russian as a language.

They say we are Ukrainian Jews, and Russia is a terrorist country at war with us, and that we should not use their language,"

— said Rabbi Meir Stambler from Dnipro. "Others say that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin does not own the Russian language. That's the problem."
He added: "This is what people discuss all the time."

Ten years ago, half of Ukrainians said they spoke Russian as thei]]></video:description>

<video:title><![CDATA[After Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Ukraine opens a consular office in Haifa – history of the issue]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[Ukraine Officially Returns to Haifa: after 11 years of absence, a consular representation will once again appear here. NAnews – Israel News reports on how the network of Ukrainian diplomatic missions in Israel has evolved from 1991 to the present day.

What we will cover in this article:

Diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Israel were established on 26 December 1991, and by October 1992 the Embassy of Ukraine in Tel Aviv had already opened.
In 1998, Aron Maiberg was granted the status of Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Haifa, marking the first step toward developing a consular network in the country; his mandate was extended several times by Ukraine’s MFA.
From 2008–2014, Haifa hosted a General Consulate headed by Ihor Vitaliyovych Turchyn.
Since 2013, Jerusalem has been home to an Honorary Consulate led by Ofer Kerzner.
In 2025, the process began to open a new Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Haifa, which is to be headed by Alex Zernopolski.

After Tel Aviv and Jerusalem — Ukraine Returns to Haifa
For the first time in over a decade, the north of Israel will once again have a Ukrainian consular representative. On 14 August 2025, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk announced on “The Best Radio of Israel” that lawyer Alex Zernopolski will become the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Haifa.

According to him, the candidate approval process lasted about ten months, and now it remains only to receive final confirmation from Israel’s MFA. The consular office will operate in Haifa — Israel’s third-largest city and the center of the northern region. The decision is driven both by the growing needs of the Ukrainian diaspora and the city’s strategic importance in the country’s economy.

<video:title><![CDATA[Mordechai Kreuser: an Israeli citizen who has been feeding internally displaced people free kosher meals in Ukraine for 3 years – video]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[“This is my way of saying thank you to G-d that we have food and shelter,” - says Mordechai.
The story of Mordechai Kreuser is a shining example of human solidarity and selflessness. An Israeli citizen who came to Transcarpathia to revive the Jewish community became a savior for thousands of Ukrainian immigrants.
For the third year now, he has been providing them with free kosher meals, bringing light during the difficult times of war.
A report about Mordechai Kreuzer showed Ukrainian TV channel ICTV .
Mordechai Kreuser came to Mukachevo in 2022 with an ambitious goal: to open a kosher restaurant and breathe new life into the Jewish community. However, Russian aggression changed his plans.
When the war began, Mordechai used his funds to set up charity canteens in Mukachevo, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernigov.
At the beginning of 2022, about 500 people came to the dining room in the Mukachevo synagogue four times a week, now - 250.
“This is my way of saying thank you to G-d that we have something to eat and a place to sleep. I came here for a different purpose and found myself among hundreds of thousands of people fleeing the war and becoming its victims. I feed the hungry and this is my way to help them." - says Mordecai.

Help with numbers
At their peak, Kreuser's canteens fed up to 500 people daily.

City
Number of people (2022)
Number of people (2024)

Mukachevo
500
250

Ivano-Frankivsk
~300
~150

Chernigov
~200
~100

Over time, the number of visitors has declined due to fewer migrants, but the need for hot meals remains high.

Why kosher food?
Kosher dishes are not only a tradition, but also a sign of respect for every person, regardless of their faith.
Features of Mordecai's cuisine:

Suitable for people of all religions.
Meets strict kosher standards.
It is being prepared with the participation of volunteers, including displaced people.

Volunteer work
The Kreuzer canteen is staffed by four women who are themselves displaced people.
