Kyiv Targeted by Massive Attack: Neighborhoods and Landmarks in Flames
Last night, on June 10, 2025, the capital of Ukraine came under a brutal attack by the Russian army. The main weapons used were Shahed kamikaze drones and various types of missiles. The targets included residential areas of Kyiv, leading to multiple fires. Eyewitnesses reported flames and thick smoke across different parts of the city. Among the damaged sites was St. Sophia Cathedral, one of the oldest architectural and spiritual landmarks in Ukraine.
Odesa: Strikes on Medical Workers and Maternity Patients
While Kyiv was burning, Odesa was also under attack. Russian drones targeted civilian infrastructure. As a result:

- The following were damaged: a maternity ward, a first aid station, the train station, and residential buildings.

Casualties in Other Regions: Kharkiv and Sumy
Tragedies unfold not only in Odesa and Kyiv. In Kharkiv, during a rescue operation, the body of a deceased person previously considered missing was found. In Sumy, a 17-year-old boy wounded by a Russian shell on June 3 has died. These incidents confirm that the consequences of shelling continue to mount even days after the attacks.
One of the Largest Attacks to Date: 315 Drones and 7 Missiles
According to official reports, this was one of the most massive attacks since the start of the war. Russia used:
- 315 drones, more than 250 of them were Shaheds;
- 7 missiles, including 2 of North Korean origin.
Residential buildings, utilities, and medical infrastructure were damaged. In Odesa, 13 people were injured, including maternity ward staff.
