Britain has recalled its diplomats from Lebanon due to unrest.

The UK Foreign Office has urged staff to leave its embassy in Beirut, Lebanon.

“The UK said the reason for the withdrawal of the staff was the unstable security situation in Lebanon,” The Times of Israel notes. The UK Foreign Office also called on all its citizens to leave Lebanon. Due to the deteriorating security in the region, Ukraine also called on its citizens to refrain from traveling to Lebanon.

In early August, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported the evacuation of 30 citizens from Lebanon, including women and children. The media also noted that several countries called on their citizens to leave Lebanon due to tensions between Israel and Hezbollah. Israel is expected to respond to Hezbollah's missile attack on the Golan Heights. The attack on the field in Majdal Shams, where children and teenagers were killed, caused a serious reaction from the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, who promised a serious response to Hezbollah terrorists.

The Israeli government has taken responsibility for determining the manner and timing of its response to the rocket attack on the Golan Heights. On July 30, the IDF launched an attack on the Lebanese capital Beirut, where the Israeli army said the Hezbollah commander responsible for the murder of children in the Golan Heights was located. The Israeli military also targeted a senior adviser to leader Hassan Nasrallah. On August 3, the IDF struck Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon and recorded the launch of about 50 rockets from southern Lebanon toward the Upper Galilee in northern Israel.
