The information was disseminated by the Israel Hayom portal. Borrell's proposal will be presented at a meeting of foreign ministers of the 27 EU countries scheduled for next Monday in Brussels.

It is expected that Borrell's initiative may face resistance from some Eastern European countries, including the Czech Republic, Hungary and Estonia.
