Arab countries are planning to block Israel's membership in the UN.

Following the Arab-Islamic summit in Saudi Arabia, it was decided to mobilize international support to suspend Israel's participation in the United Nations (UN). Participating countries also warned of the danger of escalation in the Middle East region. This information was reported by Al-Arabiya TV channel.

However, a decision to “suspend” Israel's participation in the UN must be approved by the UN Security Council, where the US has veto power.

It is assumed that after US President Donald Trump takes office, the United States will automatically veto such a proposal. Consequently, further actions on this issue will depend on the position of other countries and further developments.
