An investigation has begun in the United States after the leak of secret documents about Israel and Iran.

According to CNN sources, the United States is investigating the leak of classified information about possible Israeli actions against Iran. The published documents, obtained by the pro-Iranian channel, are dated October 15 and 16 and contain information about the movement of ammunition and Israeli air exercises.

These documents, according to the Middle East Spectator telegram channel, are the development of the US National Security Agency and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. They are marked as being available to member countries of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, which includes the US, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

According to CNN, who exactly gained access to the Pentagon Papers is being investigated, which could be a key point in the case. In this regard, a possible Israeli retaliatory strike on Iran is also being discussed before the US presidential elections scheduled for November 5, which presumably will not affect the country's nuclear or oil facilities.
