The United States amplifies pressure on Russia, Trump emerges as Israel’s chief ally, yet Israeli resorts are poised to welcome tourists from a terrorist state
While Russia devastates Ukrainian towns, kills civilians, forges strategic ties with Iran, and supplies arms to Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists, Israel is expanding its “All inclusive” offerings for Russians.
The Israeli authorities are gearing up to enhance the “All inclusive” offerings for Russians in their resort areas. This was indicated in a statement from the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, received on February 5, 2025, via TASS.
“Eilat’s hospitality sector, boasting 11,023 rooms, eagerly awaits travelers, and hoteliers are prepared to expand the ‘All inclusive’ format for Russians. In total, Eilat has 70 accommodation facilities, with about 12 currently operating under the ‘All inclusive’ model, according to Itamar Elitsura, head of Alate Hotels and the Dead Sea.
As part of “these efforts” in Israel, a delegation of tourism professionals from the Russian Federation was welcomed during a week-long visit.
“The Eilat authorities’ initiative received support at the highest levels. The Israeli Ministry of Tourism is poised to amend some regulations in other resort cities,”
“The Ministry of Tourism of Israel has reached out to the Russian Foreign Ministry, requesting the lifting of restrictions on travel for Russian citizens to Israeli resorts.”
The authorities in Eilat are hopeful of restoring the flow of tourists from a country that spreads chaos and death in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Amid U.S. opposition to Russia, as Washington prepares new measures to pressure the Kremlin, Donald Trump pledges to force Putin to halt his bloody aggression, the Israeli business sector and the Ministry of Tourism are banking on “guests” from the Russian Federation.
But who exactly will make up this “tourist flow”?
Will they be ordinary tourists or participants of the so-called “SVO”, with hands stained with the blood of fallen Ukrainian soldiers and civilians? What kind of “entertainment” can Eilat expect when former invaders, accustomed to violence and impunity, arrive?
Russia is a terrorist state, Israel is a victim of terrorism, yet resorts are welcoming them?
Russia devastates Ukrainian cities using missile strikes and Iranian drones, resulting in thousands of deaths. Mariupol, Bakhmut, Kharkov, Kherson – these are just a few Ukrainian cities that have been turned into ruins due to Russian aggression.
Moscow directly supports Hamas by supplying terrorists with weapons, intelligence, and diplomatic backing. In October 2023, the Kremlin officially received a Hamas delegation with military honors, effectively endorsing the mass killings of Israelis.
And now Israeli authorities wish to see Russian citizens in their resorts? Among them will be veterans of the Russian army who have killed Ukrainians and operatives of security services who support terrorists? Isn’t this a direct threat to Israel?
Eilat, beware: what kind of tourists will arrive from Russia?
According to Russian media, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism is already in talks with the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding the resumption of tours. A Russian delegation has already visited Eilat, where they were introduced to hotels operating under the All-inclusive system. Currently, 12 out of the 70 hotels in the city have switched to this format, with plans for more to follow soon.
But what can Russians expect in Eilat?
- Former participants of the “SVO” – those who have killed Ukrainian civilians and military personnel.
- Retired officers and operatives from the FSB – those who collaborate with Hamas terrorists.
- Russian propagandists who label Israel as the “Zionist enemy” and justify Hamas’s aggression.
What repercussions could this have for Israel?
- Increased crime and violence from individuals accustomed to murder.
- Propaganda and subversive activities coordinated by Russian intelligence services.
- The decline of Israel’s international image should its resorts become havens for criminals.
USA versus Russia: Trump vows to compel Putin to end the war
Meanwhile, the U.S. intensifies pressure on the Kremlin.
Donald Trump, considered a principal ally of Israel, has stated that Russia must cease its bloody aggression against Ukraine. Washington is formulating plans and a new package of sanctions which will target Putin’s economy and undermine the Russian military apparatus.
Israel, as a strategic ally of the United States, ought to support America’s pressure campaign against the Kremlin and not attempt to re-establish relations with a terrorist state.
A choice for Israel: to uphold the civilized world or to attract Russians?
Israel today faces a critical decision.
Either it aligns with U.S. policy and aids in weakening Russia, in the interest of halting the murders of Ukrainians and supporting Hamas, or it opens its doors to tourists from an aggressor state, at the risk of its own safety.
Israelis must ask themselves: Who are we expecting in Eilat? Tourists or killers?
