Israel is gradually returning to peaceful life: today it was announced the re-opening of several nature reserves and parks that have been closed to the public for the past 14 months.
Among the parks open to visitors starting tomorrow will be Baram Park, with an ancient synagogue from Talmud times, located between Kibbutz Sasa and Moshav Dovev. These places were inaccessible due to rocket attacks, but will now be made available to visitors to revive tourism in the region.
Achzim and Yehiam parks with the Crusader fortress, Nimrod fortress and Tel Hazor also open. The list of natural parks open to the public also includes Nahal Amud and Hula Valley natural parks.
Some parks will be open to the public in the coming weeks, but others will remain closed due to reconstruction work, such as Ein Afek, Nahal Ayun, Banyas and others.
