The United States has presented a new version of the hostage swap deal. The agreement is being discussed with mediators from Egypt and Qatar under the name “Take it or leave it.” US President Joe Biden presented the project after the death of six Hamas hostages.
The final version of the agreement will be presented to Israel and Hamas in the coming weeks. If one of the parties does not accept the terms, Washington will stop participating in the negotiations. According to Ynet, 101 Israelis remain in Hamas captivity, 72 of whom are alive.
Negotiations are expected to continue in the near future to reach an agreement and release the living hostages.
