On Monday, August 26, 2024, an incident occurred in the Gaza Division: during an inspection of a tank, a shell was accidentally fired and fell into the sea. According to the headquarters of the Southern Military District, the inspectors did not make sure that the gun was unloaded, which led to an accidental shot. The command reported the possibility of errors by several participants in the incident.
