After intercepting a rocket fired from Yemen, debris fell in several locations in the Mate Yehuda region, including the settlement of Tzur Hadassah. The alarm sirens did not go off, but there were no casualties, only property damage. Residents were advised to stay away from the falling debris, and sappers were dispatched to the site.
Debris was also reported falling on Highway 375 near Tzur Hadassah, causing damage but no injuries. A Houthi spokesman said ominously: “Revenge will follow.” Earlier, the IDF confirmed the interception of a surface-to-surface missile outside the airspace.
This is not the first time such an attack has occurred from Yemen against Israel. Two weeks ago, the missile was partially intercepted, but debris fell near Ben Gurion Airport. Such events cause concern in the country and highlight the need for security measures.
