On the evening of August 10, the IDF and Shin Bet issued a statement about the elimination of a terrorist group at the Al-Tabin school in Gaza. About 20 militants were found in the complex, while the Palestinians claimed dozens of civilian casualties.
According to the security services, at least 19 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists were killed in the attack involving the IDF. Three types of precision weapons were used, which did not cause serious damage to the building where the militants were located.
Measures were taken before the strike to limit the risk to civilians, including precision weapons and intelligence. Hamas continues to violate international law by using civilian objects and populations as shields.
