President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on several international negotiations concerning energy in his evening address on October 11.

International Negotiations and Support

Zelensky noted that detailed work is being done with partners to ensure the necessary support. Additional negotiations are planned in the coming days. Discussions include equipment that is being accumulated in reserve for winter and used in communities, as well as financial assistance. Special attention is given to air defense systems that provide protection and the need for missiles for these systems.

There was also a conversation with the Prime Minister of Canada, during which Ukraine’s needs for air defense and energy support were discussed.

PURL Program and International Cooperation

Zelensky noted the success of the PURL program, which allows the purchase of American weapons, including missiles for “Patriots.” He expressed gratitude to NATO partners and hoped for expanded participation from Canada.

The President coordinated contacts with other world leaders and gave necessary instructions to the military, the Office of the President, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasizing that results must be achieved.

Earlier, Zelensky had a conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, discussing the latest Russian attacks on energy and support for Ukraine.
