The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel expressed regret over the tragedy.
“We are deeply saddened (Ukr. – засмучені) by the terrible news of the Russian attack on civilians in the village of Yarovaya, Donetsk region, which claimed the lives of more than 20 Ukrainian citizens.
We express our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” said the statement on the official page of the department on social networks.
Version and Possible Intentions
The CEO of “Ukrposhta,” Igor Smelyansky, suggested that the coordinates of the mobile branch’s location might have been deliberately disclosed. On September 9, the transport distributing pensions and social benefits became the target of a guided aerial bomb. This led to catastrophic consequences.
Increase in the Number of Victims
As reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadim Filashkin, the number of fatalities as a result of the strike has increased. Among the reported victims are 25 people, highlighting the scale of the tragedy and the need for further investigation into the circumstances of the attack.
