Ukrainian military liberated another point from Russian soldiers in Donbas.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have liberated the settlement of Novoeconomichne in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region. This information became known thanks to the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military reported that on August 31, the Ukrainian flag was ceremoniously raised in the center of the settlement. It took about two weeks of work to liberate each street. Night operations were carried out by small groups that identified enemy positions, conducted coordinated assaults, and clearances. All these actions culminated in the installation of the flag in the very center of Novoeconomichne.

The operation was successfully conducted by the fighters of the assault regiment “Skala.” Meanwhile, the analytical project DeepState previously wrote about the advancement of Russian forces at the junction of the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. This information included the capture of Kamyshevakh in the Donetsk region and enemy activity in the Malievka area in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Also, data from DeepState mentioned that Russian troops do not hold the settlement of Dachne in the Dnipropetrovsk region, concentrating forces in other directions to the west. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that the Kremlin is trying to present its summer campaign in a more favorable light, claiming non-existent successes. According to Ukrainian military, Russia’s summer offensive has essentially yielded no results.
