February 14, 2025, as part of the Munich Security Conference, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha.

Andrii Sybiha noted that Ukraine is interested in expanding cooperation with Israel. He also invited Gideon Sa’ar to visit Ukraine on an official visit.

“I met with Gideon Sa’ar to discuss Ukrainian-Israeli relations and common security challenges arising from deepening cooperation between Iran and Russia. We agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. I also invited my colleague to visit Ukraine,” said Sybiha.

Particular attention was paid to the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear program and its interaction with Russia. Gideon Sa’ar emphasized the need for coordinated actions to counter these challenges.

“We discussed developments regarding the war in Ukraine and the possibility of reaching an agreement. I emphasized the danger of Iran’s nuclear program and the need to counter it. We agreed to remain in touch,” said Sa’ar.
