Another absurd statement by Russian President Putin caused a sharp reaction from Ukrainian leaders.
This time, the Kremlin offered Ukraine a “technological duel”, comparing the confrontation to a game: Russia will strike Kyiv with a new Oreshnik missile, and Ukraine will have to demonstrate the capabilities of its air defense system.
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on December 19, 2024 called this proposal inadequate, adding that such statements indicate the complete moral bankruptcy of the Russian leader.
