Israeli Economy Minister supports President Trump's “threats” against BRICS countries

In an interview with the Indian news agency ANI, Israeli Economy Minister Nir Barkat expressed approval for newly elected US President Donald Trump's promise to punish countries for refusing to use the dollar.

According to Barkat, such threats from Trump are in the interests of the world and indicate that neither India nor Israel are going to use a currency other than the dollar. He also noted that Trump is creating a new geopolitical order where allies get everything and enemies get nothing.

Trump announced the possible introduction of a 100% tariff on goods from the BRICS countries, which will abandon the dollar in favor of another currency. Russia is actively discussing abandoning the dollar and the euro in favor of a new common currency for the BRICS group.
