Former Defense Minister Moshe (Boogie) Ya'alon accused the government of ethnic cleansing in an interview with Democrat-TV. According to an interview published on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, November 30, 2024, Moshe Ya'alon alleged attempts at “annexation and ethnic cleansing in the northern Gaza Strip in order to create new Jewish settlements.”

According to Ya'alon, 70 percent of Israelis support the idea of ​​a Jewish, democratic and liberal Israel and separation from the Palestinians. He expressed horror at what was happening in the Gaza Strip and called for awareness of the government's actions.
