The IDF announced another death in combat in the Gaza Strip. 21-year-old reserve sergeant major Roi Sasson died in a shootout with Hamas terrorists. The funeral began on November 20 at the military cemetery in Jerusalem. The family will hold mourning at the address without any time restrictions.

This battle became fatal for Sasson, his commander was injured. During the same period, another soldier died with the Islamists in Lebanon – Omer Gaaldor, a senior sergeant in the reserve. He was married and had two children, and after military service he studied at the Faculty of Architecture.

Since the start of the military operation in the Gaza Strip in 2023, 800 military personnel have already been killed. All of Israel mourns the losses and takes part in the funerals of those who died for their country.
