The Israeli army said a missile fired by Hezbollah hit a UN peacekeeping base in southern Lebanon. Some of the rockets fell on Lebanese territory, including the UNIFIL base in the Deir Ames area. Hezbollah fired a rocket at a UNIFIL post in Lebanon, causing injuries and damage.

Representatives of UNIFIL confirmed information about four wounded soldiers from Ghana serving in the peacekeeping contingent in southern Lebanon. The missile was fired by Lebanese “non-state forces”. Italian authorities blamed Israel for shelling the base, although details of the incident were not specified.
