Israel attacked and destroyed a secret nuclear facility in Iran – media

The Israeli Air Force attacked the secret Taleghan 2 nuclear research center in Iran, which recently resumed operations after the Amad project was stopped in 2003. Sophisticated manufacturing equipment for developing the plastic explosive surrounding the nuclear charge in a missile warhead was destroyed by the Israeli strike.

Official Tehran denies the military use of its nuclear program. Journalists contacted Iran's UN mission for comment, but received no response. Satellite images confirm the defeat of the Taleghan 2 facility in the Parchin area, which was officially considered abandoned.
