Eight Israeli military personnel were killed in southern Lebanon and northern Gaza.

Eight IDF reservists were killed in southern Lebanon and Gaza. Among the dead were a major, captains, warrant officers and soldiers from different units and brigades. Their names and titles were allowed to be published. Major Dan Maori, Captain Alon Safrai, Warrant Officers Omri Lotan and Guy Idan, and Petty Officer Tom Segal all gave their lives in defense of Israel.

Also among the dead were Captain Barak Israel Sagan, Sergeants Ido Ben Zvi and Hillel Eliyahu Ovadia. They all served in different brigades and were distinguished by dedication and professionalism in their work. These soldiers were victims of terrorist attacks in Israel, Lebanon and Gaza.

Since the beginning of October 2023, 765 IDF soldiers have been killed in heavy fighting and terrorist attacks. It was a “Black Saturday” for the Israeli army, which lost many of its best sons in the fight for the peace and security of their country. All those who died will be remembered as true heroes, whose sacrifice will not go unnoticed.
