The successful actions of the Israeli armed forces against the Hezbollah organization bring hope for a speedy end to hostilities on the country's northern borders, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said on Thursday.
“We were able to inflict serious blows on the leadership of Hezbollah,” he noted on the IDF Telegram channel.
Halevi also mentioned the assassination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, emphasizing that it was not a random event, but the result of systematic work.
The military is successfully reducing the presence of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Since September, Israel has been actively bombing southern Lebanon and Beirut, destroying Hezbollah installations. The IDF has launched limited ground operations against traffic in southern Lebanon while Hezbollah continues to fire daily rocket attacks into Israeli territory.
