The Israeli army carried out a new operation in Lebanon aimed at financial institutions associated with the terrorist organization Hezbollah.

The strikes targeted branches of the Al Qard Al Hassan Association, which finances Hezbollah's activities and weapons purchases. The Israel Defense Forces press service reported that hundreds of millions of Hezbollah dollars were stored in the organization's branches.

Before the bombings, the Israeli military warned civilians to stay away from the sites.
