One Israeli was killed in a terrorist attack on Highway 4.

The press service of the Asuta Hospital in Ashdod reported that two victims of the terrorist attack on Highway 4 were recently taken to the hospital. One of them died on the way to the hospital, and the second is in the trauma department, his condition is serious.

It was also reported that two more victims were being sent to the hospital, one of them was a doctor who was injured by a car after stopping at the scene of the terrorist attack. Another victim was taken to Kaplan Medical Center from the Clalit group with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Ashdod Mayor Yechiel Lasry addressed citizens, noting the redeployment of all security forces and reserve units to the city following the attack. Barriers were installed at the entrances and exits from the city, but the incident did not affect the city itself.
