From September 22 to 26, the Ayalon Highway in Israel will be closed at night

From September 22 to 26, 2024, the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv will be closed at night to construct supports for traffic signs above the highway. This work is being carried out as part of the Express Lanes project, to provide quick access to business centers for public transportation and carpooling.

The closures in the northbound direction will begin on September 23 and last until September 26. Traffic will be rerouted to Coastal Highway (Highway 2). On September 25, the section from the KKL interchange to the Glilot interchange will be closed again, but this time from 00:00 to 05:00.

On September 26, the last closure at night in the northern direction will be from the Yoseftal interchange to the Dov Hoz interchange. It is important to remember that some exits to the Ayalon Tzafon highway will be temporarily closed, so it is best to plan your route in advance.
