The New Tolerance Campaign (NTC) is ready to donate $1 million to an organization that will hold a gay pride parade in the Middle East conflict zone. NTC CEO Gregory Angelo said the goal of the event is to show the double standards of LGBT activists who support the Palestinians.
The proposal is primarily aimed at the groups Queers for Palestine and Gays for Gaza, which are active in anti-Israel demonstrations. Angelo believes that this could be a step towards peace in the Middle East or proof that the Palestinian territories are not safe for the LGBT community.
The NTC president highlighted the differences in LGBT rights in Israel and the Palestinian territories, and his words are supported by advertising campaigns at universities and organizations in the United States.
