Three Israelis were seriously injured in a terrorist attack near the Tarkumiya checkpoint in the southern Hebron Highlands. The incident occurred on a highway 35 kilometers east of Tarkumiya. A man and a woman in their 30s are in critical condition, and a 50-year-old man was seriously injured.
A Palestinian terrorist or terrorists opened fire on a car carrying the victims. After the incident, an abandoned car was found in the area of the attack, from which the attack on the Israeli transport was most likely carried out. Security forces continue to search for suspects in Hebron villages.
An attempted terrorist attack in Gush Etzion on Saturday night left two Palestinians dead.
