On August 26, 2024, Iran said Israel was “unable to hold its ground” after attacks by a Lebanese group. As a result of the Hezbollah attacks, Israel faced rocket attacks and was forced to fight back. The Israeli military launched a counterattack on Lebanon to prevent further strikes.
