US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has warned G7 allies of a possible Iranian and Hezbollah attack on Israel within the next 24-48 hours.
He held a conference call to coordinate actions and put diplomatic pressure on Iran and Hezbollah. Blinken said limiting strikes could help avoid a full-scale war. He stressed that it was not yet clear what the response to a possible attack would be.
Reports point to possible attacks as early as Monday, with Blinken urging foreign ministers to press all sides to contain the conflict.
Blinken's talks come amid tensions between Israel and Iran, marked by the killing of a Hamas leader and joint strikes against Yemen and Israel.
